Maintenance Reminder

It is critical to have an emergency supply kit in the event of an emergency. A disaster supply kit is simply a collection of basic items that your household may need.

According to FEMA, the emergency supply kit should have sufficient quantities of your own food, water, and other essentials to last for at least 72 hours. The idea is that after a disaster, local officials and relief workers will be on the scene, but they may not be able to reach everybody right away. You can find a sample list of items on FEMA’s website at: www.ready.gov/kit Use this reminder to create a new supply kit or to restock a previously created one.
